Solving Problems

Solving Problems

Family research is thrilling and full of surprises, but sometimes it goes astray. Have you encountered a brick wall in your research? Or maybe you collected a lot of information but there is still a missing piece of the puzzle? This is a moment when you could really use some professional help.

We will examine the question you are dealing with and suggest possible solutions.

Typical problems are: researching a particular question like parentage and pedigree, discerning data about a particular person amongst many with the same name, finding information in rarely-used repositories and collections, or tracing through the U.S. back to Europe.

We will start with collecting information you already have and create a research plan which clearly outlines what information you would like to know. Then, we will conduct research. At the conclusion of our research, we will provide you with a report which includes citations in footnote form, many of which may also include links to where each piece of information was obtained. All information will be referenced to the original sources. We will create a chart showing family relations, and we will provide you copies of relevant documents and photos obtained in the research process.

Following our research you will receive a research report with copies of relevant documents and photos, as well as suggestions for further research.

Starts at $400.
